My love of Photography started back in the days of film as a hobby and quickly became a passion which I have never tired of. I'm rarely seen without my camera and love to photograph wildlife and birds in my spare time so I never feel I'm truly 'working' if I'm behind a camera!
My style is generally described as 'lifestyle' in other words I try to be discreet & relaxed and aim to capture natural expressions which convey character and personality. If my images tell a story to their viewer then I have fulfilled my role as a photographer.
The majority of my work is in Wedding Photography but I also enjoy natural family portrait sessions for all ages including newborns and the family pets! These can be done in an outdoor setting of your choosing or in my home studio (or a mixture of the two)
I also offer a photography package for graduation days at any university within a 50 mile radius of Sheffield.
Besides people - I can also offer product photography on a one off or regular basis as well as commercial/architectural photography for architects, estate agents, retail estate premises and small businesses etc
I also enjoy sharing my passion and enthusiasm for photography with others so my camera workshops in the beautiful peak district are a full yet relaxed day and an ideal way to learn how to get your camera 'off auto' and realise its full potential. Day workshops (small groups or 1:1) are also an option if you want to explore and learn the capabilities of editing software particularly Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom
Vouchers for these workshops are available and are often advertised on Groupon for a great value for money price! They make an ideal present for anyone with a DSLR or Bridge camera and an interest in photography. Not forgetting, all workshops include a delicious lunch of pie and peas from a prize winning specialist food shop in Bakewell - what more could you want for an enjoyable day with like minded people!
